Poutama / Te Ara Poutama - Stair way to Heaven, symbolizes growth of all man kind to strive to be the best we can 

Pātiki - Flounder fish , symbolizes abundance and to provide for your community

Niho Taniwha - Taniwha Teeth, symbolizing the importance of sharing and handing down pūrākau stories, and the significance of kaitiakitanga (guardian of the environments)

Kaokao - Armpit, symbolizes protection and strength as a whānau
